Welcome to Scented by Milan.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through Scented by Milan, including purchases made through our website, social media pages, vendor events, pop-up shops, or other authorized sales channels.
By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. PRODUCTS
Scented by Milan offers handcrafted and/or small-batch body and scented products, which may include:
Body butter
Body oils and other skincare products
Fragrance and scented products
Room and linen sprays
Wax melts
Car diffusers
Candles and other home fragrance products
Other related products offered by Scented by Milan
Because some products are handmade or produced in small batches, slight variations in color, texture, consistency, fragrance, or appearance may occur. These variations do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective.
2. BODY BUTTER & SKINCARE USE
Our body butter may contain ingredients including shea butter, mango butter, arrowroot powder, vitamin E oil, jojoba oil, apricot oil, and fragrance oils, depending on the specific product.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product ingredients before use, particularly if they have known allergies or sensitivities.
We recommend performing a small patch test before using a new body product. Discontinue use if irritation, redness, itching, burning, or another adverse reaction occurs.
Products intended for external use should not be ingested. Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas.
3. ALLERGIES & SKIN SENSITIVITIES
Scented by Milan cannot guarantee that a customer will not experience an allergic reaction or sensitivity to an ingredient or fragrance.
Customers with known allergies, sensitive skin, or concerns about a particular ingredient should carefully review the product information before purchasing and using the product.
If you are unsure whether a product is appropriate for you, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before use.
4. FRAGRANCE DISCLAIMER
Fragrance preferences and experiences are subjective. A fragrance may smell different from person to person and may perform differently depending on skin chemistry, environment, temperature, and other factors.
Descriptions such as “inspired by,” “type,” or similar wording, when used, are intended only to describe the general fragrance profile. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Scented by Milan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any designer fragrance company or other third-party brand referenced for comparison purposes.
5. HOME FRAGRANCE & SCENTED PRODUCT SAFETY
Customers must follow all safety and use instructions provided with candles, wax melts, room sprays, car diffusers, and other scented products.
Keep scented products away from children and pets. Keep flammable products away from flames, heat sources, and hot surfaces. Do not ingest fragrance products.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Follow all product-specific warning labels and instructions.
6. PRODUCT STORAGE
Body butter and other temperature-sensitive products should be stored in a cool, dry location away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
Body butter may soften or melt when exposed to high temperatures. Melting caused by heat during shipping or after delivery does not necessarily affect the quality of the ingredients. Texture may change after melting and resolidifying.
7. ORDERS & PAYMENT
Full payment is required before an order is processed unless Scented by Milan has agreed to other arrangements in writing.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
Scented by Milan reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order when necessary, including suspected fraud, payment problems, pricing errors, inventory issues, or other circumstances affecting our ability to fulfill the order.
8. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Processing and shipping times may vary based on product availability, order volume, weather, holidays, and carrier conditions.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery schedules are generally controlled by the carrier.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect address or an unclaimed package may be the customer’s responsibility.
9. RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Due to the personal-care and hygienic nature of many Scented by Milan products, opened or used body and skincare products generally cannot be returned or exchanged.
Returns, refunds, replacements, and exchanges are subject to the current Scented by Milan Refund and Return Policy.
Customers should contact Scented by Milan promptly if an order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing an item and should retain the product, packaging, and photographs when requested.
10. RESULTS DISCLAIMER
Individual experiences with our products may vary.
Scented by Milan does not guarantee specific cosmetic, skincare, fragrance longevity, or other individual results.
Our products and product descriptions are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Information provided by Scented by Milan is for general product information and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
11. ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for using products according to the instructions, warnings, and intended purposes provided.
Scented by Milan is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, improper storage, failure to follow safety instructions, use contrary to product labeling, or use after a known adverse reaction.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Scented by Milan business name, logos, product photographs, original graphics, website content, written product descriptions, packaging designs, and other original brand materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without authorization, except as permitted by law.
13. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, prices, and other information. However, occasional errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, change pricing, modify product availability, and make other appropriate changes.
Product photographs are intended to represent our products, but colors and appearance may vary depending on lighting, photography, device displays, and handmade product variations.
14. PRIVACY
Customer information collected during purchases or interactions with Scented by Milan will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Scented by Milan reserves the right to revise these Terms of Service as the business, products, policies, or applicable requirements change.
The version posted or provided at the time of purchase will govern that transaction unless otherwise required by law.
